Does anyone recognise these local men who served with the 130th St John Field Ambulance in WW1?

Does anyone know any descendants of Gilbert Brain, Alfred E Burgess, William Harris or Ieuan Phillips?

Research has identified several men on the Llanhilleth boys photo. Top left is (Charles) Andrew Jenkins. Top right is Jack Williams. Bottom right is Charles Taylor.
Still trying to find relatives of Tom Cordey, Gilbert Brain, Arthur Strickland, Charles Taylor, Thomas Oldham, Dan Lacey (Six Bells) and William Harris (Aberbeeg).[/img]

Apart from the driver who is an Army Service Corps man, I have now identified all but one of the local men in this photo. Lemuel Powell is not a local man. Seated centre are Lt. Colonel John E H Davies (Wrexham. The C.O.) and Regimental Sergeant Major William Stroud (Cwmcarn). Can anyone identify the last man?

Did have the names of the two in the middle row, but not local, if memory serves one was from Wrexham and the other Abercarn.

Sorry mate, did see a picture of Tom Oldham earlier this morning from the South Wales Gazette dated 03 March 1916.
Not a problem if you want me to delete the two posts I put on today.

The Lippitt brothers had a step brother called George Crockett but he died in 1915.
In the funeral report of William Henry Lippitt it stated George Crockett was in the RAMC, obviously a mix up with Thomas George Lippitt.

Highly likely a mix up. I am in contact with George Lippitt's grandson.

Regards that address in Arael Street for Dan Lacey, a gentleman surname Stingemore initial H also served from there in WW1. Wouldn't know if they were related or one was lodging but the Stingemore's are listed in the 1922 electoral register at that address. Seen other comments around the net and the Lacey's might have moved to another address on Areal Street. H Stingemores picture appeared in the South Wales Gazette on 30 July 1915.
