Hello Everyone!
I am seeking information on my Grandfather Charles Henry Whittaker, who I believe worked Abertillery, Cwmtillery, Six Bells and Rose Hayworth pits during the 1920's/1930's.
Stories I have were; He was involved in marches including one to London, He was a member of the "Tin-Can Fusilliers" who collected money for the unemployed, He suffered a severe head injury from a cave-in, He lodged with Ike & Lil Beech, and was a member of the Boy's Brigade.
Any info gratefully received.
