Those of us that were able to attend tonights meeting of the Cyber-Tyleri group this evening at the Corner Club enjoyed meeting everyone involved and besides being a very exciting and interesting online project it was a very entertaining social activity.
Everyone appeared to be enthusiastic about the project and contributed with a few inovative ideas of their own that may be of interest to others. We are all looking forward to the next meeting and would welcome input of ideas from any of the forum members that were unable to attend. _________________ My life is no rehearsal There'll be no curtain call encore, so I've thrown my screwed up script away to ad lib my life once more!
It's very early days for the project but it is clear that everyone is keen to involve as many people as possible and that the smallest contribution in terms of time, effort or ideas will be as valued as the largest.
At the moment Cyber-Tyleri is focussed upon developing the Abertillery website but already has started to look much more widely than that. If you want to be part of the future of the town you should get involved now. You don't need IT or any other type of skill, you won't be asked for money and you will be able to put in as much or little time and effort as you feel able to.
If you want to know more then I'd be more than happy to try and fill you in as I am sure Carolyn or any of the others involved would be.
Another meeting is taking place tomorrow evening - Wednesday 26th - at 6pm at the Corner Club if you are interested in coming along. Should be a briefish meeting.
