| Quote: | YOUNG French musicians made a special trip to Abertillery to learn about Welsh culture.
The Musiques Jeunes at Voyages are a group of 14 to 16 year old students from a specialised music, dance and drama school in Lille, France.
This week, the group is paying a visit to the Metropole Cultural and Conference Centre in Abertillery to learn to play Welsh songs such as Cwm Rhondda.
The group have been coached by musical director of Cardiff Arms Park male voice choir, David Last, and have also been tutored in contemporary dance.
The youngsters also have plans to meet up with pupils from Abertillery Comprehensive during their stay.
