Are you involved with the CC Ellis? I know you used to play in your younger days.
Here's hoping for some decent weather for the game. |

I went on the sponsored walk on Sunday to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease and Hospice of the Valleys, ex player Eric Rogers died of Motor Neurone a few years back and we have been doing the walk every year since on the bank holiday. Good social occasion for seeing the old gang as I don't play these days. Lots of beer drunk on the way and stiff legs on the morning and still suffering _________________

Great day down at the park thanks to everyone who attended. Big thanks to Ian Rossiter and all his helpers, it was a great success and everyone enjoyed it. All the youngsters played well in the hot conditions, the future of Gwent Cricket is looking good, they were too strong for their Pembrokeshire opponents. It is hopeful that another Gwent under 15's will be held at the park next season.
Scoreboard
Gwent 267 for 5
Pembrokeshire 170 for 7
Gwent 19 points
Pembrookeshire 6 points _________________
