Does anyone have knowledge of the children of Harry Eason who lived in Tillery Street until the Late 70's? My father was Harrys brother, Jack who worked on the R&W buses.

Hi Eileen,
Harry was my dads brother. Thanks for the info. I had forgotten his wifes name so that will help and I will also be chasing the daughter. I remember he also had a son who I think was older than the daughter?
I had a memory of Harry leaving Wales but not why...perhaps it was because his daughter lived in Yeovil? Strange really as our Eason, originally Easton, family came to Wales from Somerset in the mid 1800's
At least now I can add some more names to the tree.
Thanks
** just checking my records I have a reference for Harrys birth and its from 11a 133 OctNovDec 1919 Bedwelty
could be just a mistake?
One other thing...Harry was a coalminer which means he probably never left Aber until he went to Yeovil. I dont recall any other children in the house.

H1
just rechecked Find my past and Ancestry  it is 133 the  middle 3 is feint but definately 1917 death has him as 82 yrs old.
to be honest I could never remember their child/children.though when I put in Angela it did ring a bell!!!
My grandfather and father came over from Somerset to work in the mines
too. The Jewell family came from STREET, near Glastonbury I know my Dad knew your grancha and Harry.Well they lived in the next street,
Curiosity here did your Dad have other siblings ? There`s a Tree on
Ancestry (Can`t rely on them at all!!!!) But they have your nan and Granch having twins in 1920 A Vivian and a Lillian can`t find the births or
any other info  and then he sticks in a death for a James Vivian in Southhampton "about" 1967!!!!! Livens Family Research up  though

Livens things up when you find something...I go weeks with nothing then I find rellies I didnt know existed from some spurious source I wasnt looking at!!
Yes, Dad had an older sister, Ruby, who died young I think, then there was Harry. Vivian b.1920 never married and was a schoolteacher in Newport. Lillian was also a spinster who looked after my Grandad in Newport until his death in the 60's What happened to them after that I dont know. I didnt know they were twins? Trouble was my Eason rellies werent very family oriented. Everything I now know about the Easons has come from my research. I wish they had stayed in Somerset sometimes. The village, Bishops Sutton near Chew Magna, is really pretty and rural. The coal mine there shut down in 1850 which is why the Eastons left for Wales.
