Hi Dorothy

Never sure where Ty Dan-y- Wal started and Ty Bryn ended. Blaenau Gwent methodist is opposite Howel Griffin Court and still is, going back a bit when you lived there you will remeber the big houses that also stood on the triangle and later knocked down. The Manse or rectory as I knew it then for Blaeanu Gwent Baptist Church was on the opposite side and the fields below where Howel Griffin is now were open fields full of blue bells and Trigger the horse, he was well famous in Blaenau Gwent everyone fed him on the way to school when they were little or on their way to Cock & Chick school. Think this area may have belonged to the council as they later became allotments.

Hi Carolyn
Thanks for the information, I had a feeling it was built where the big house was, but Mam thought it was on the grounds of the chapel.
