I know that at least one of the local candidates stood down before the selection meeting. Whether that was recognition of imminent defeat, pressure from the Wales executive or support for Mr Davies I'm not sure. _________________ The compliments pass when the quality meet.
Come on Martyn you know me better than that if Cardiff applied pressure on me they'd get the reaction they got in 1997, you obviously remember that.
