It's a while since I went to my children's plays/musicals at Abertillery Primary but they too were fantastic. The efforts put in by some of the staff and pupils made the events. I don't know Mrs Twomey but Dean Taylor at Abertillery is full of enthusiasm and ideas and is a credit to the school.

Two of my grandchildren attend Queen Street Primary School, unfortunatley I was unable to attend the school performance of
Scheherazade but was told it ws exceptional. Mrs Twomey and staff should be congratulated on their efforts working with the children at this school.

They have provided them with a good number of interesting projects and in particular those involving local history. A year or so ago they were asked to bring in information and old photos and in particular of victorian toys, my son told my grandaughter that I had old photos and to ask me to help.

My grandaughter asked me for photo's of olden days and also one of myself with my pennyfarthing bike! They love these projects and are very interested but I think I was set up for the latter request.
