I went to watch Abertillery v Risca yesterday. Aber lost but knew before the game started they were promoted. I wonder if that contributed to a fairly lacklustre display? Anyway many congratulations on their double promotion. Hopefully with this momentum behind them they can keep the squad together.

Add to that Aber youth winning their league, the under 13s winning the Gwent-Caerphilly plate and the under 12s getting to the final of the Gwent-Caerphilly plate and rugby in Abertillery is definitely on the up Very Happy

And with Wales winning the Grand Slam and Cardiff City winning the FA Cup (well not yet but it's in the bag) then it's been a great year for Welsh, south wales and Aber sport.

OK Swansea got promoted too but you can't have everything Evil or Very Mad
