Brum Lady, not a camera as the photo is at least 7 years out of date but I could cut a mean rug in my day Laughing I think I have also elfed a few people without the use of a camera. Wink

"Lifting" Carolyns picture was EASY ... just run the "elf" and use the "Print Screen" key ( usually found to the right of the F12 key on most keyboards) Wink .. the rest I'll leave for you to work out yourselves Twisted Evil

I only use print screen to copy the screen image into an e mail if I want to show my gf how I got things set up if I have a problem with my settings. You can drag and drop images and photos into e mails most times but I could not do it on this one so what is the easier way Question

ps Mike do you know your links do not work, have you got your settings right in your profile Question

OK let me explain how simple it was to `copy` Carolyn’s Elf picture and transfer it to the Dancing Santa.
Firstly I brought up the Elf Carolyn (using the link on the original message) and simply pressed the Print Screen key (this copies the screen image to memory).
Then, using a Drawing/Art/Photographic piece of software (I used Paintshop Pro but you could use `Paint`), “Paste” the image you captured and `cut out` the piece you require (the face) from the picture and save (preferably as a Jpeg).
Now all you need to do is use this picture as you would any other picture on the Dancing Santa site.
Not really Rocket science is it?

Hmmm "Not many people know that"

I did not hear anyone ask for an explanation Rolling Eyes The easier way I was refering to was to e mail a friend who I know has the photo would have saved an awful lot of work, but then again;...."Not many people know that" Laughing

"but how did you lift the photo Question" ... That was the question Carolyn asked and I made my answer a simple as possible Exclamation
