I just thought I'd mention that if you have an Orange pay monthly contract you will have had or soon will get a text from them telling you the terms of your contract have changed.

What they have done in fact is to increase the cost of the first minute of any calls when you go over your monthly allowance. I don't have the figure to hand but it has risen from something like 4p to 14p for that first minute.

The reason this is important is that by doing so Orange themsleves have breached your contract with them. They aren't allowed to increase their charges that much. Consequently, you have the right to cancel your contract without any penalty. You are also entitled to keep any free phone which came with the contract.

I signed up with Orange for 24 months in June and got a free Samsung Tocco. I cancelled that contract on Thursday and have now signed another contract with Three and got another Tocco, so I now have one for spare in case any of us loses or breaks theirs. The contract with Three is also better (there were reasons I went with Orange at the time).

If you don't want to move from Orange, don't want a new phone, are happy to see out your contract and don't think you can find a better deal elsewhere then stick with them. If you have answered no to any of those points then you can phone them and cancel - I think they have had so many calls them don't even bother to argue or persuade you to stay. I'm not trying to persuade anyone, just letting you know.
