I've mentioned that I'm on the Shadow Board of Tai Calon, the organisation that will take over the relevant assets and running of the Council's Housing stock.

Tenants have a big say in this ( the Board is made up of 5 tenant reps, 5 Council-nominated and 5 Independent persons ie. not tenants nor councillors and in our case people with in-depth experience of social housing ).

Please use this topic as a way of getting and giving information.
This is a brand spanking new organisation that will be responsible not only for housing but trying to give employment to local people, either jobs or contracts or working for a contractor and other things that will benefit the area.
You have a chance to fashion that.

I'll keep you up to date with details of meetings that you can attend to have your say and a general overview of the process and how it's going.

And before any wag says it - it will not be Tai-tanic.
