Does anyone know if there was ever such a thing as a town show in Abertillery? I was thinking it would be fun to reprise or start a town show where locals can show off their 'best in show' vegetables etc. I know lots of wonderful fruit and vegetables are grown in the allotments and thought it would be a fun competition. Any ideas or information would be appreciated. Thank you.

| Might be worth talking to someone from one of the allotment associations - Kelvin any idea if they do anything like this? |

They have had the Blaeanu Gwent in Bloom competition for several years and it would be nice if this was extened to an annual show to include fruit and vegetables _________________ Elections are won by men and women, chiefly because most people vote against somebody rather than for somebody |

| I guess it is too late for this year and anyway I'm not sure if it would conflict with Blaenau Gwent in Bloom but maybe it is something Aberfest could look at? |
