Does anyone know where there might be a garage to let in Abertillery? Also how to find out about having an allotment, preferably Adam Street area? Thanks

Don't know of either Mgriff13, but if there is a shortage of allotments or garages in Abertillery I bet we wont have to wait long before Hedley mccarthy gets the blame for it.

Allotments are the domain of the Community Council.
He hasn't managed to get that low yet.

Anyway, sniping apart ( forgive me jaybe if I got the wrong end of the stick ! ) I'd suggest enquiring at the Community Council.
( Now based in the Library ).

I don't know whether he'd thank me for naming him but Cllr. John Taylor is something to do with the Bishop St. Allotment Assn I think, so perhaps give him a shout.
And if he isn't by all means blame me, and tell him I'll apologise personally to him next time I see him.

(Some) garages used to be council-owned but I think they're all private now.
Have you thought of putting an ad. in a shop window ?

Thank you for the information. I hadn't thought of the shop window advert, thanks again.

Try Gregory & Phillips mgriff13.
The Local Authority aren't the only ones who own allotment land.
