Abertillery police?

Can anyone tell me where I can access the archives of Abertillery police? My grandfather's brother was Sergeant Ben Enoch. My elderly mum would like to find out about him.

Try Gwent Archives...GB0218.D3297/3..lists officers serving from 1898 until 1919.

Thank you so much. I've asked all sorts of people and this is the first proper lead I've had. I'll let you know if I find him there.

Gwent Aechives have the records. You can either visit Ebbw Vale and view them or pay them to do the search. Don't know the fee but the lady to contact is Angela Saunderson.

Thank you. I shall be in Gower next week so I thought I'd pay them a visit. There might be other stuff I could see at the same time. It is a pity that they will will be shut on Saturday or I could have broken my journey there. I go down once a month to help care for my Mum so once I'm familiar with their set up I can make use of them. His uncles worked in the mines. They weren't all in the same place. I'll have to check the boundaries.
Anyway all that is for another day. I'll get on with the police first.

They use to open certain Saturdays, not sure these days.

Only open on second Saturday each month. It should take one hour ten minutes from my mum's so not a problem.
