I have in my family tree 2x Moses Adams, 1born 1868 the other 1843. I have been told Adam street was named after one of them but cannot find out if this is true. Also he built quite a few churches, each he dedicated to one of his children.
The Banks family from Cinderford are also in my tree, I know Minnie, born 1881 lived in Abertillery. I think she married William Lewis, and had children may be called Cyril, Edie +others. If anyone knows of her I do have a photo of Minnie and her clan taken abt 1955.
John Adams was born 1807, moved to abertillery, 1851 census he is in the county goal Cardiff.
Does anyone have any information.

There is also a Moses Adams listed as a member of the Liberal Club who
lived in Newhall Street in 1904 and was a contractor. I have found no information for a Moses Adams born 1881.
I think Moses Adams built/owned one of the houses in Adam Street and at that time lived in Gelli Grug Road I will have to check that. I could not say if he built any of the other or if the street was named after him
