A DAY of charity events in Abertillery has been organised in memory of Cheryl Morris and the good work she did for her ward during her time as a councillor.
On the afternoon of Saturday, April 19 a charity football match will be played between past and present players from Abertillery and Cwmtillery.
In the evening there will be a charity music event held at Abertillery Rugby club.
Performing will be High Spirits, local group DVD and vocalist Jaycee.
All money made on the day will be donated to Nevill Hall baby unit, a cause which was close to Cheryl’s heart after her granddaughter was born prematurely and treated there.
