Hi Jem
Well I can't confirm it definitely but we walked up to the old church above Brynithel a few weeks ago and had a drink in the Carpenters. They told me that on Bank Holiday monday there would be a hog roast and cart race up there. It's a nice walk anyway so that's where we'll be heading.

GET REAL ! gemnev where have you been at. most people go off on the last bank holiday and always gone elsewhere. carnivals and fetes have always been in july and who would want to visit aber on a bank holiday? when they do have fetes and craft fairs a lot of the stalls have a tables of pathetic rubbish and raffles and are up and gone by 12 or 1. they let the people doing it down
