BIRD family of AbertilleryI'm wondering if there are any descendants of LOUISA and WILLIAM BIRD in the area. Louisa was my "Auntie Louie", the half-sister of my mother. She had a brother, Thomas Fry who lived at Llanhilleth. We lived in the Eastern Valley at Garndiffaith, but visited Abertillery from time to time, not frequently because this was in the 1930s when travel wasn't as easy as it is now. My sister and I used to take part in the Police Sports which were held annually in Abertillery, running for our school (Abersychan Secondary) and we always visited Auntie Louie at that time. I am trying to find out more about their mother, Rachel Fry (nee Morgan). Any help would be appreciated.
