British Legion around 1940.sMy Mum can remember that she had an Aunt Milly, who went each year to carry the banner for the British Legion in Abertillery to the Epitaph. Does anyone remember Milly or her niece Betty Assender. My Great Aunts' married name was Millicent Howells. Any memories of this. She had three sons, one was Reggie who was a fireman, one called Ted who was not very healthy and the last son Tommy was in the Royal Navy.
