Cwm gears up for Christmas switch-on

HUNDREDS of people are expected to line the streets of Cwm on Friday for the annual Christmas lights switch-on and parade.

The event, now in its sixth year, is totally funded by donations and events held throughout the year by residents.

This year the organisers had to raise £8,500 to ensure the event could go ahead.
