The only Baileys I knew in Cwmtillery was in West Bank just up passed the South Wales Inn They were rows of houses built below road level.

There were similar houses at upper Eastside on the East bank of Cwmtillery.

Thanks for your help I think it was somewhere on the west side I was told from the parish registers-also looking for some houses called green villas off alma street if they are still there.

Green Villas was behind Alma Street you had to go down a gully in Alma street to get to them, or you could get to them via an opening at the top of Bryn Morgan Terrace dont know if they are still there as I have been living in Birmingham for 30 years, I use to live in Gwern Berthi Road Cwmtillery.

Green Villas are still there yes. There is a new road which runs immediately behind them now, the other side to the Alam Street side so they are more out in the open these days.
Bryn Morgan Terrace is long gone. My brother David lived in one of those tiny houses in the l1960s before moving to Ashby. That area of Abertillery has changed more than most over the last 30-40 years and would be unrecognisable now if you hadn't seen it since then.

I am afraid not all I have is photos of Alma Street and the area around the backs I took two years ago for a friend in Canada and some of the lakes.
I know very little of Cwmtillery area other than travelling up and around picking up passengers on the Jones's school bus, the Top Hat and walking above the lakes I never had any cause to go up there. If you e mail me I can send you what photos I do have.
There are also some great modern images on both these links

Are you looking for any family in particular that lived in the Baileys as I lived in Gwern Berthi Road and went to school with quite a lots of friends that lived there. I may be able to help within the years 1957 to 1975

The Chivers Family owned both Tredegar Terraces and Fountain Terraces, they thenselves lived in Landover Villa.
