IF going to the gym is too daunting or you just prefer outdoor exercise, why not try the new equipment at your local park?
Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council has installed Life Trail equipment at three local parks, allowing everyone who enjoys exercise outdoors environment to be more active.
The Life Trails, which have been provided through Active Lifestyles funding from the Sports Council for Wales are now in place at Bryn Bach Park in Tredegar, Abertillery Park and Eugene Cross Park in Ebbw Vale.
All ages and abilities can use the Life Trails for strengthening, flexibility and balance activities that address the various sections of a well-rounded fitness programme, contributing to an active lifestyle.
