FAMILY HISTORY REQUESTS AND USEFUL LINKSWhen posting a family history enquiry it may be helpful if you include your family name in the subject heading rather than just posting "Seeking help" or "searching for ancestors". Keep it simple like William Price born in Abertillery, Davies Family Abertillery,if searching for place names, burial grounds, chapels or churches please include them in the subject heading.
Having descriptive titles makes sure that anyone who wants
to come back to your enquiry later will be able to do so and family names can be more easily found when browsing through the archives.
Please try to include as much known detail as possible about the person/place you are seeking information in your enquiry, dates, relationships, where born ect. It is difficult for someone to attempt to provide an answer, if they do not clearly understand the question.
Thank You
