Frederick Davies - Rotary Ambassadorial ScholarWe have been asked if we can help with the following enquiry - Mr Frederick Davies was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Abertillery and Blaina in the second year, 1948-9, of The Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship Programme.
There were 18 Ambassadorial Fellows in the world at that time and one of these was Frederick Davies. He studied Economics at McGill University, Montreal from July 1948 until June 1949. It appears from the sponsorship that he may have come from Abertillery or Blaina area - is there anyone out there who can help?
