Hi Angela
Thanks for your first post on the forum!
To answer your question, it depends which end of Vivian Street you are talking about. If it is the side towards the town centre, those houses are older. You can go and have a look at the house that is next to Hill Street (upper Vivian Street). On the end house is a plaque high up that says if I recall correctly, Victoria Terrace and a date 188something (around 1889). Victoria may not be right by the way - I will check myself. Those houses in that little row there were all built at that time.
The other houses in Vivian Street towards the old Sports Centre are newer and built around or just after 1900. I will have a look at my 1901 map. If you send me a personal message through the site with the number of house I will see what I can do. Hope this helps.

Hi Angela
I took a look at the houses at the end of Vivian Street today. To start with, a correction: it isn't Upper Vivian Street but the main street I was referring to. The actual row of four houses was called Windsor Cottages and the plaque says 188? (it's worn away), possibly 1889 or even 1880.
