Meek family

Looking for any information about the Meek family, Charlie Meek had a sweet shop I believe, if there are any relatives still living in the area I would love to hear from them as I am looking for information about Sara Ann Meek who was my fathers' mother.

Meek's sweet shop was at the bottom of the three hills onto Alexadra Road... Then again I could be wrong !! No doubt if I am then it will be avidly pointed out WGAF  Surprised)

Hi,
Not sure how to use this board so hope this is the right place to reply, I think this is the same family as I have seen a photo of the shop, I'me hoping there are still descendants in the area or people who remember them?

Hi,  I am also looking for information on Sarah Ann Meek of Abertillery.  Not sure if this is the same lady but this was my grandmother's name.  She died when my mother was 3 years old probably about 1924.  She would have been married to William Mark Butler of Cwm Gelli, Blackwood and they had 7 children.  What is your father's name.

Hi Christine,
I think you know my dad, he is Douglas Mark Butler, we are trying to find out about his mother as he does'nt remember her and has never seen a photo so if anyone has one we would love to show him, he has asked his relations but nobody seems to have one, we would all love to know more about her.
                                   Regards,
                                          Janet.
