Murder

Hello Abertillarians - I'm doing some research for an elderly gentleman who is writing his autobiograpy. He recalls a murder of an old lady in Abertillery, by I believe a coalman - this could have been in the 1950's or later. Can anyone help me?

Contributions acknowledged (or not if you would prefer to remain anon). Thanks in anticpation.

I don't know if this will help - An great aunt of mine lived in Aber and I remember my mother telling me that a murder had been done by a young lad (too young to be hanged) of a girl or maybe an old woman.  The body was put in her garden shed.  This occured possibly before the 50s and maybe several years earlier.  My great aunts name was Myra Edwards.  I can't remember the address.  The murderer was sentenced to be imprisoned "Under Her Majesties Pleasure"
