Must be an election coming up............Why else would the Labour Party launch a mass spam at The Gazette ?
1) The Abertillery Ward Labour Party ( based at Beaufort St., Brynmawr ) complain about the state of the roads and the town.
Tell us something new - or have they only just noticed ?
( I also notice that they haven't complained about the lighting.
Now that would be shooting yourself in the foot wouldn't it Mr. Secretary/Mayor/etc. etc. )
2) Agent Smith ( controlled by somewhere outside Blaenau Gwent ) jumps on the 'save our school' bandwagon.
Agent Smith - it's actually this council's 'protect our children's education' strategy that counts, not points scoring.
And if 'your' lot ( 'cos they're not really yours are they, they are simply the decent poor old footsloggers or the greasy-pole climbers whose task is to link you with the grassroots ) had the vision, nous and good old-fashioned b**ll**ks a few years ago to grasp the very spikey nettle then it would have been all over by now and our children would have possibly had better for a few years.
3) The Deputy Leader of the Labour Group compliments the first two with an alternative way forward.
It used to be Mr. Nasty and Mr. Nice.
Now we seem to have two puppets and Mr. Reasonable.
4) The Leader of the Labour Group is nowhere to be seen.
Clearly not a case of hiding one's light under a bushel.
I can't wait for the hustings.............................
Oh - and one dinosaur from up the valley rolled out as an example of 'real' people.
Presumably 'Brother Phil' is on holiday.
Anyway, can you believe that they are STILL taking us to be idiots.
A co-ordinated media attack. I'd say 'orchestrated' but it's difficult to know who the conductor is these days.
