Pre-emptive Strike, AM Wars

Since Labour's now come up with its latest out-of-area parachutist ( surprise, surprise - not ) and we'll no doubt be subjected to a propaganda blitz, I thought I'll do my 'reveal the tricks of the magician' spoiler, just to show they can't fool any of the people any of the time.

First, you might remember a posting a while back where I ran the rule over all the candidates for the thankless task they'll have.

Well, lo and behold, 2 local people were patronisingly ( not to them but to us, the residents of Blaenau Gwent ) given interviews. The biggest local Labour cheese didn't even get that far. ( It's a bit strange putting your name forward and then withdrawing - why waste people's time ? ).

Now we've another outsider foist on us.

After 2003 I told a Labour ( since defected ) stalwart that The Party might suffer for 10 years at least.
Without showboating, but just to show I do have my finger on the pulse, I've also predicted the makeup of The Party's candidates since then, accurately predicting in 2007 that we'd have a male parachutist for MP and local candidate for AM.
Also that they'll all have common names, so as to try to get over that they are the common man.

So, we've had a foreign ( ie. non- BG ) Jones, a foreign Smith a local Bender, a local Hopkins.
We've had a female MP candidate, a male MP candidate, a female AM candidate ( just to stay true to their lists ) and a male AM candidate.
Nothing's worked.

So now we have a foreign Smith and a foreign Davies ( note it's a welsh 'Davies' as well ).

This one will be saying he know BG because dad was a big cheese on the Council I understand.

I'm surprised because they could have put a Davies up against a Davies because that's not yet been tried.
We've had the battle of the sexes and the battle of the same sexes but never a battle of the Davies' or the war of the Laws.

Anyway, when Labour's Davies comes around ask him what he thinks of the Assembly's plan to reform expenses.
And when Merthyr AM Lewis sticks his nose into our patch in support of him ask him what he feels of the Assembly's plan to reform expenses.
Better still, ask then in front of each other.
Mr. Davies has nothing to lose, Mr. Lewis' household, however, has.

When they encroach on your space in the street or wherever ask them how they will represent you.
And as soon as they start rabbiting on with scare stories about the Tories, Independents and anyone else they can rubbish in order to get themselves on the train to the trough just remember this:

It's far better to have a true enemy than a false friend.

The thing is though, no-one seems to regard Dai Davies and Trish Law as enemies of the people, just The Party.

Between now and the election I'll be giving you an insight into why the propagandists have said what they've said, and just as importantly some of the things they haven't said.
( On that subject just why is Agent Smith quiet regarding Nantyglo Comp ? )
