PRICE FAMILY - James & Naiome of Powell StreetDoes anyone know any Price family descended from James and Naiome Price (my great great grandparents) who lived at 57 Powell Street, Abertillery and both died in 1940, buried at Blaenau Gwent cemetery - James was heavily involved in the Trade Unions and the Powells Tillery Institute. He had worked at all the local pits and was a checkweigher come the end. They were also members of Ebenezer Church. They had at least six children: John, Mary D, Thomas, William, Herbert (my great grandfather who moved to Somerset with his wife Dora and family) and Gerald Price who died the same year as James & Naiome aged 43 and also lived at 57 Powell Street.
Family mourners at James' funeral included the following grandchildrens' surnames: Ellaway, Reasons, Hart, Williams, Griffiths, Nichols. Also the name Marson for a niece & nephew & T. Phillips as a niece.
