William Victor MyttonHello Tom
I have a William Victor Mytton in my family tree (his uncle married my great-grandmother!). He was born in 1901 and was related to Sir Thomas (Tom) Mytton who was chairman of Monmouthshire County Council in the 1950's or 1960's. I do not know of William Victor moving to Talgarth but I can tell you that William Victor's grandfather David Mytton born 1830 came from Abbey Cwmhir or St Harmon in Radnorshire, and moved to the Brynmawr area, so there was a definite connection to the Radnor / Breconshire area. I can give you more info if you contact me through this site.
If you go to www.freebmd.org.uk you can find a record of William Victor's birth (it's a free site to search). Also there are researchers on the website www.genesreunited.co.uk who have info on the Abertillery Myttons.
Do let me know if you want me to post a message on genesreunited - it might be worth subscribing yourself.
Best of luck
Jane.
