Supporting those who serveYou may have read that the Ministry of Defence have tightened up on unsolicited mail to members of the forces serving in operational theatres.
Apparently there were so many cards and gifts sent to 'a soldier serving in Iraq', 'a member of the armed forces in Afghanistan' or the like last year that the logistics got clogged.
So, the obvious way around it is to send it to a named person.
If anyone knows of a family who has a member serving in Afghanistan please ask them if they would like a card sent.

I'm going to be arranging for some gesture of support for them.
