Thatchers offer to buy their council homes against the wishes of labour my self included

Not really Eddie, why would it?  Confused

More to the point what about Tony Blair who was the subject of this thread but whom, as usual, you've tried to deflect attention from.
Ian

Out of interest Eddie whom do you suggest Martyn or anyone else if they choose to vote socialist actually votes for......Labour don't fulfill that role anymore  Rolling Eyes

Give credit

Tony Blair was not alone when believing the Labour Party had to change and change it did winning three UK general elections in succession
My father’s old left wing Labour Party went into decline with the heavy industry that employed so many labour supporters and unionists
A typical example since the loss of king coal and steel Blaenau Gwent’s Labour Party membership suffered badly
To you Ian even without being told or the mention of socialism people voted labour not bothering to ask new or old, Opposition parties removed from office Westminster Assembly and council chamber Ebbw Vale
Blair a multimillionaire so what, I don’t envy his life, neither would anyone when considering the danger to life and limb Blair and his family has to face 24 -7, My special memory of him amongst others Was the peace he brought to Northern Ireland ending decades of killing and bombing
Martyn 142 can be very mischievous when attacking labour under Blair and most especially local councillors
If and when he replys I hope he lets me know more about  people who were fighting tooth and nail to get rid of Brian Scully and his ilk and are now very cosy with him thank you very much
As for the late Peter Law are you one of those who believed labour had treated Peter badly
Have you ever considered Martyn what if Brian Scully had left the labour party alongside his cousin Peter Law Who would then have been the candidate most favoured for Peters Westminster or Welsh Assembly seats Scully Dai Davies or Trish Law how would you have voted Martyn would  you have still kept your spleen reguardless

You meander so much in your replies (which in fact answer nothing anyone has asked you) that I have no idea what point you are making.

well said Martyn
