Victoria Terrace

Wandering if no 13 Victoria Terrace is still there,  on my visit`s down there, unable to find the address,   my Grandfather was living there on his Wedding Day Aug 1907     Thanks   Dave

Hi Dave, I remember having an enquiry about Victoria Terrace a few years ago on the old message board.  I have searched for the online map that was available at the time but it is no longer there.  Victoria Terrace I assume was demolished, I think it was in the Somerset Street area close to the junction of Queen Street or Vivian Street.  I may well be wrong my memory is a little dim I am not happy with this aging process at all.  If you contact admin maybe he can tell you as he has a number of old maps and I think he contributed to the message at the time and aslo placed it somewhere in Somerset Street

Victoria Terrace was at the left-hand side of Somerset St, ( heading South ), past the Police Station.
ie. it was on the same side as the nick.
