zebra crossing foundry bridge /station hill congestion

it blends in with the road surface it needs to be highlighted black/white as they used to   simple roundabout needed at bottom of station hill like the one by the war memorial  possibly one instead of the traffic lights both cheap/effective no sculptures plants ect which only impede drivers vision  is this to simple to implement   this council chances are yes

When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.

I hadn't noticed the colour of the crossing - which probably proves your point! However, I did wonder why it is placed where it is rather than where it used to be.

So far as the roundabout is concerned, I haven't found a problem with the lights, although I don't use that junction at peak times. There is often a huge queue on Station Hill though and a roundabout at the bottom might help that.
