Yes it would but all landlords or the drinking public can get all the info they want by going to the camra web site which is www.camra.org.uk
Their is a gwent branch of camra you can find the info on the main camra site. But in the mean time if you are having BBQ why not order beer from a local brewery most deliver you can buy in 9 or 18 gallons
Any way if garvin whats to get any beer from otley brewery he can contact them at OTLEY BREWING
Cheers for that Leigh. I will have a look at the CAMRA site. I'm not sure why I haven't joined. At our BBQs though we tend to have my own homebrew I've just put 5 gallons of Munton's Old English Ale in the keg to mature and 5 gallons of Woodforde's Great Eastern in the fermenting bin
Apologies for going off thread! _________________ The compliments pass when the quality meet.
I enjoyed a few ales on Saturday evening, made a pleasant change to be able to drink some rweal ale instead of the usual lager and cream flow.
Can't see the local pubs changing because they're tied houses and cater for youngsters, not us oldies. _________________ er gwaetha pawb a phopeth dwi'n dysgu o hyd!
I don't see any major change either but I will try and nag Garvin to kep the guest ale going. I am also going to have a go at Mark from Pennos tonight to see if he will stock some bottles at least. _________________ The compliments pass when the quality meet.
Good idea for Pennos. My son had his wedding reception there 5 years ago and they stocked some Tomos Watkin specially for the day. At least I think they did....hic
I'm off to the Commercial tonight for the quiz, i'll let you know if there's any whoosh available. _________________ er gwaetha pawb a phopeth dwi'n dysgu o hyd!

Well I just got back from the quiz. We came joint second which, on balance, I am happy with. Take a bow Carolyn, Clive, Hywel and Kelvin I also got to meet Mabel which was lovely even if her team made fun of us every time we got one wrong
Oh and the whoosh was pretty good _________________ The compliments pass when the quality meet.
Mr Monk/Mole you are clearly deluded if you think I would be remotely interested in your persona on the forum or in reality. Don't hold your breath I would not think we move in the same circles for our paths to ever cross. My only concern is that members are aware that you are using a pseudonym and that it is not mistaken for anyone of any consequence or a regular long term contributor. I don't think any self respecting troll would lay claim to your username after reading some of your offerings to date _________________ My life is no rehearsal There'll be no curtain call encore, so I've thrown my screwed up script away to ad lib my life once more!
Congratulations and Well Done Brithyll, Aberfest champions, hope you enjoyed the wine
