Anyway, back on track......thanks for the congrats., it was a fluke, honest.
Bat walk last night where the intended stars (the bats) failed to put in an appearance, unlike the midges which feasted quite well. We had an enjoyable walk through nuns wood and around the lakes but not a bat was to be seen. We left at about 1030 but batless. Great walk, good company and very informative, will be back next time, many thanks to the organisers.
Tonight it's the cheese and wine tasting in the Corner Club......busy, busy, busy. _________________ er gwaetha pawb a phopeth dwi'n dysgu o hyd! |

I don't feel so bad about missing the bat walk now. I had wanted to go but I remember Dai telling me last year that (understandably) it didn't really get going until it got dark. And that's a bit late for me on a school night
See you at the wine tasting Brithyll _________________ The compliments pass when the quality meet.

There are two ways of spelling there/their depending on the context your's is neither and if you check through all your postings you will find quite a number of contextual mis-spellings Mr. Monk.

I looked at your profile and found 153 matches for posts made by Adrian Monk with approximately the same equivalent in spelling mistakes but unable to find the one in which you were reprimanded for discussing a subject other than any solely relating to BG.
However whether they should be placed in this section of the forum is debatable. Politics and current affairs bore the nadgers off some people. Most forum users who enjoy participating in these topics tend to use forums designed for that purpose and most have extensive knowledge of the subjects under discussion and not spouting a load of drivel.
That is four clues, Likes TV detective programs but confuses them with reality, poor speller who tells porkie pies, enjoys boring the orchids off the majority of posters using this forum ie. his reply's could hardly be considered prolific _________________ Everyone is gifted but some just never open their package |

Not difficult if one clicks the link in your profile. Tedious and boring however I will agree
You mean this (Martyn he can't post links)

Slight deviation from the truth there Mr. Monk, you were not reprimanded by admin or one of the mods. Is that yet another clue to your identity? Who likes to spin and deviate from the real truth.
Then again best we should all watch our P's, Q's, typos and punctuation on this forum, and to be politically correct some may have us bilingual next.

The wine and cheese tasting was fun last night. Not quite so many as last time but that was at a different time of year so maybe some people are away at the moment.
Penno's quiz tonight - not part of Aberfest admittedly. _________________ The compliments pass when the quality meet.

No doubt there were many who prefered to stay at home basking in the sunshine in their gardens with a can or two and a BBQ. The weather has been unusually glorious _________________ My life is no rehearsal There'll be no curtain call encore, so I've thrown my screwed up script away to ad lib my life once more! |

It was a great success in town today. The vintage car event was very well attended, the crowds really enjoyed it not seen so many people in town and Church Street in a very long time _________________ My life is no rehearsal There'll be no curtain call encore, so I've thrown my screwed up script away to ad lib my life once more! |

Hiya all, we've been away for a while so I've not looked at this thread until now.
On page 2 I'm sure the English translation of Abertillery refers to "potholes" so I think it's got to be spot on.
I'm glad to hear you've all been enjoying Aberfest, and that the good weather has made you all so cheerful and friendly. |

We really enjoyed the vintage cars, nice to see the old ford popular (green/blue) one that used to be in henley's showroom for years. _________________ "Assert your right to make a few mistakes. If people can't accept your imperfections, that's their fault".

Spent last Saturday on stall which was aimed mainly at the young ones. Labour Party workers raised some cash for Community Council Chairman's Appeal.
Also enjoyed vintage vehicles
