I have taken photos of the Aberfest for a number of years now and nobody has complained if they do this time I will (Or admin or the mods take it down) I did not take the photos this year as I have done for a number of years. Very few people take a sickie on a Saturday. if they were in a crowd in the centre of town with someone they should not have been with how the heck is anyone supposed to know, maybe they should slink off to some secluded place.

Happy now!! I used to love Abertillery but there is sure some miserable crititers living here now Rolling Eyes Thank god they are in the minority like you

Looks like it was Adrian Monk. Will someone tell him(?) to go away? I trust he(?) will be writing to the Gazette (and every other paper for that matter) to ensure that any photos with actual people in them are excluded from puublication.

I was wondering the same, it certainly looks like it was the monk.
He interfered with my posting on the EURO, suggesting i broke rules.
If it was'nt admin that removed the photo's I say if no one else objects they should be put back up.
Afterall adrian monk can't complain because he does'nt exist!

I(Bo)J, I thought you were my ally. It appears you may like to run with the hare and the hounds. I'm off to work now, I'll try to pick up your reply there, or at home in the morning.

I will defend anyone in the right and speak out at those i deem to be wrong.
I therefore expect to be treated accordingly, if someone thinks i am wrong that is their right.
You have a humorous side but you also have a penchant for stirring up unnecessary trouble.
Go back to being humorous and I (may) play along.

Just as a passing comment - people who have their photographs taken at an open public event have no legal rights over said photographs.
Peopel often quote the data protection act and even child protection as legislation that gives them rights - they are wrong.

You'll have to excuse me if I haven't followed the thread correctly as I've not had access to the board for a while. Consequently I can say with some authority that admin did not remove any photos (nor edit Adrian's post).

I think you are aware by now that admin will generally intervene only where someone has posted something illegal. So far as I can work it out, the photos were of a public gathering and, as Dai 6 has pointed out, would not have contravened any law.

I am gutted I missed the Vintage Vehicle show. I plain forgot all about it to be honest. I did go over last year only to get very wet in the torrential rain. There were few on show anyway so I am glad it seems to have taken off this year. If I can tidy my MGB up a bit maybe I'll take it over next year.  Very Happy
