Thanks Fred.
You've also reminded me that our Council are in the middle of instigating Assisted Collection.
Our binmen will be taking refuse from the door of people who are unable to put it at the curtilege themselves.

A/M, everyone else is talking recycling, while you persist in talking rubbish.
You know I told the truth and you still waste your time trying (unsuccessfully might I add) trying to wind people up.
Has your silk knicker fetish worn off already.
Are you really that bored, your feeble attempt's have been recycled far to often.
Start writing in a positive light. _________________ "Assert your right to make a few mistakes. If people can't accept your imperfections, that's their fault".

Whilst I couldn't see anything wrong with the old box system,I put the bags out this morning and they were picked up and taken away.So was all the food waste , which leaves a very small amont of stuff in our dust bin ,so in our house we could really use a collection of non recyclable rubbish every 2 weeks, bet that's put the cat amongst the pigeons.
We can't go on wasting resources that are able to be recycled, alright so it's not always convenient or easy for some people, but that's a very short sighted attitude .We will be leaving our children and grand children a huge problem if we don't make the effort now. |

Still no bags or new instructions, still no sign of untidy Tidy Trev our rubbish still in the box yet again and excess rubbish gone out with the normal rubbish, that has been collected. Could not say one way or tother if there is an improvement in the new service or not, it's the same as it always was. collecting it regularily on the correct day would be a good start _________________ My life is no rehearsal There'll be no curtain call encore, so I've thrown my screwed up script away to ad lib my life once more! |

I agree with Sunbeam, we have to recycle to give our grand children the chance to improve things, if its possible.
I'ts no different than putting your household waste out, we all had reservations when recycling first began I dare say, but it makes sense to do it.
The only slight criticism I have is, one of my neighbours bags had glass bottles in and a bottle must have broken and the glass was left on the pavement, my wife cleared it up.
I don't know how strict a time is set for the workmen to clear their round but if a clean up slot was allowed in their shift for at least one of the crew things could be improved.
It's no good recycling if the streets are left littered with the stuff.
There seems to be to much pressure on the workmen to hit targets no matter what, than letting them do the job safely and efficiently, a bit more thought in that area i think. _________________ "Assert your right to make a few mistakes. If people can't accept your imperfections, that's their fault".

Please put all your recycling ,refuse and food waste out for collection before 7am on the day of your refuse collection at your refuse point. I do so hope this clarifies the situation. |
Your leaflet may well say that A/M, I am not disputing that but if you would care to come up for a coffee, I will gladly show you the scrap of paper we have received.
And further more A/M its not just the notification that some residents have not received, Its their recycling bags.
Please wash any silk knickers before you put them in the bag. _________________ "Assert your right to make a few mistakes. If people can't accept your imperfections, that's their fault".

My leaflet is also official A/M it has the BGCBC, logo on.
Your right about one thing you are selective, (WITH THE TRUTH).
And yes be thankful if you CAN scrape a draw A/M your'e only minor league after all.
And thank you in your concern about lowering the tone of my part of town, by not taking me up on my invite, I must say I was relieved. _________________ "Assert your right to make a few mistakes. If people can't accept your imperfections, that's their fault".

Out of curiosity Adrian, is it your intention to edit out the text of all your messages in future after someone has replied to them? It makes following the thread very confusing. If you change your mind why not just add another message? _________________ The compliments pass when the quality meet.

Looks like our AM (Not politically correct of course) has got his silky draws in a twist and deleted the lot It makes no sense reading the threads now, not that there was much of interest to read in many of his postings so no great loss _________________ Everyone is gifted but some just never open their package |

He baffles me. He was always claiming he only wanted to provoke a reaction with his 'witty' posts. Then when he got one he always moaned.
Now he seems to have thrown the toys out because Ian won't be his bestest friend. _________________ The compliments pass when the quality meet.

Come back Aide nothing's forgiven.
Maybe you'll talk about the I.S.S. did you see it.
I'll let you win from time to time, pretty please. _________________ "Assert your right to make a few mistakes. If people can't accept your imperfections, that's their fault".

Adrian, feel free to contribute any time you like. You'll notice I seldom respond to your nonsense anymore. And if you should decide that the big boys are picking on you then I would be very happy also if you decide to look elsewhere for your fun.
