We've never had any problem tinkerbell. In fact if we forget to put out the boxes/bags, the men come into the garden and take them anyway. However, for some reason they don't seem to be so keen on collecting from the flats next door, so some of them leave them outside out house - which is fine by me btw.
Do you know if they colect from your neighbours?

I've seen quite a few recycling bags being used for landfill waste saving buying binbags what happens do they get collected or not How such a simple issue as having your waste disposed of has become so complicated from the council side and also the residents is amazing _________________ Down at the red rose cafe in the harbour there by the port just outside Amsterdam |

PVC doors windows etc can not be recycled they go to landfill I'm not critisising the council but what is the point in recycling our milk containers ect when huge items like this will possibly never decompose and take up a lot of room underground _________________ Down at the red rose cafe in the harbour there by the port just outside Amsterdam |

Harry - it's not size that counts, it's the weight.
The EU's excess Landfill tax is based on tonnage, not size.
However, it does make you wonder about how important and revered is the sacrifice of generations past by present Governments.
I think it's a bl**dy disgrace that the hardships borne by them has been rendered useless by the spineless 'politicians' who have been able to come to power because of that generation's fortitude.
And I bet Cameron won't have the balls to undo the bad that Blair and Brown have done in the cause of a 'free Europe'.
My view - make it clear that he's been elected on a 'less dominance or out of Europe' vote. And if he doesn't in his first term then throw him out.
