Hi I am looking for my wifes families from the Abertillery area, Jim Harris and Sarah Eleanor Edwards moved there with her family George snr, George Jnr and Jennie Jones nee Edwards in the early 1900s from the Radnorshire area area.

My wife is related via the Matthews side through Morfydd Matthews nee Harris and William Matthews.

I know some of the family is in the area and if you would like to get in touch please contact me....

I am interested in the shop Sarah Harris is supposed to have run and also a shop the Jones ran in Nantyglo.

My grand father was William Matthews father hence my uncle and Morfydd was my aunt. The best person to speak with is my cousin Jim Matthews who is in touch with most of the Matthews and Harris families and i am sure he could help you trace your relatives.
