Thank you for your reply. I was told her brothers had two shops in Sixbells one being in Arrail Street.. I do not know if her maiden name was Protheroe as she was known as Dolly Protheroe. Did she marry and if so does anyone know her married name as I was told she had three daughters and a son but their names were not Protheroe _________________ My life is no rehearsal There'll be no curtain call encore, so I've thrown my screwed up script away to ad lib my life once more! |

Thanks once again for your reply. I did not think she was ever married either, so many people remember Dolly's and each have a different story to tell, just trying to put a few pieces of a jigsaw together

| There's a shopkeeper called Protheroe living in Church Street on the Lib Club members list if it is the same family. Don't remember Dolly being married either but that was way up in the 60's I used to go there when I was a kid think one of her brothers lived in the back as well |

| i always remember dollys shop as a very young boy coming from the park baths, the one thing that really annoyed her was someone picking their nose so we would all go in there doing exactly that and get chased out, we never had any money, but was always a laugh..........sorry Dolly. |
