My Grandparents lived at 6,Eastville Road,Six Bells, in 1911 Census. My Grandfather Thomas George is named as being a butcher on his own account ie not working for anyone else.I wonder if,through this forum, anybody would have information about Thomas George and would like to share it.My family come from the valleys, mainly in the ironworks.

On the 1922 and 1923 electoral registers Thomas George and Emma Elizabeth George are living at 2 Eastville Road, Six Bells.
This house was built by the Skidmore family who had 4 sons serving during The Great War. Believe Sydney died but the others survived.
Possibly the George family moved from number 6 to number 2 after the war.
The family living at that house on the 1924 electoral register has the surname Yendoll, and the George's are not living on Eastville in the autumn of 1924.
