I remember two Carter families n the 1930's. One lived in Bryngwyn Road, Six Bells. The father was the Inspector on Ralphs buses and had 2 sons - Theo and Charlie. Theo was probably born 1920/22 with Charlie a couple of years younger. The second family kept a shop in Oak Street near the County School gates. Mrs Carter was a widow and had a son John. I was in the County School with John and Charlie while Theo was a few years older.
