| Quote: | THE man arrested in Blackwood at the weekend is being held under the Prevention of Terrorism Act, police said this afternoon.
We exclusively revealed today that a 30-year-old had been arrested following a swoop on a house on Grove Park.
Now police say he was arrested on suspicion of possession of explosives after articles were recovered at the property.
The man remains in police custody this afternoon.
Police say the house has now been searched by experts and made safe by the army explosive ordinance division (EOD).
They say they are treating it as "isolated incident".
As well as the arrest on suspicion of possession of explosives, police say the man is being held on suspicion of committing an offence of possessing articles concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism.

What - all of them?
I have to say that I think conspiracy theories are one of the lowest forms of literature and firmly belong, almost without exception, in the bargain fiction pile.
To steal one of Stephen Fry’s wonderful phrases, they are: "Complete loose-stool-water. Ar*e-gravy of the very worst kind.".
As a genre they are thin on evidence and rely on loose logic, tenuous connections, wild assumptions and a reader willing to suspend disbelief beyond the point required for a Harry Potter book. I have even seen one book that questions whether the Titanic really sank!!
I sincerely hope that admin delete any post containing theories not related directly to Blaenau Gwent . It’s amazing how quick the tinfoil hat brigade can zero in on such posts and ruin a message board. _________________ :

To the engineer, everything in the universe can be placed into one of two categories:
1. Things that need to be fixed
2. Things that will need to be fixed after you've had a few minutes to play with them.
