The pic is at the top of Alexandra Road the  Police Officer on the right looks like, is it Jon Everett  ?

It's more or less outside my house although you can't actually see it in the photo. I assume that is the pine-end of the council offices you can see on the right?

you can see the cenotaph in the background. The one with the beard holding the little girl is John Everett, used to play rugby for Blaina, but we don't know who the other is

If you have a copy of Neil Milkins' 'Every Mother's Nightmare', at the start of Chapter Nine there is a photo of Florence Little's funeral cortege taken from almost exactly the same spot.
